Sidney N. Nakahodo is co-founder and CEO of the New York Space Alliance, a platform to empower space entrepreneurs through mentorship, advising, investment, and community support. In parallel to his commercial space and entrepreneurial activities, he is active in the academic setting as a lecturer in international and public affairs at Columbia University and former fellow of Singularity University, a think-tank and accelerator based out of the NASA Ames Research Park. Previously he served as a member of the World Bank staff in Washington DC, working with private sector development and carbon finance initiatives. Sidney started his career as an engineer in the advanced materials division of a multinational corporation acquired by the Eastman Chemical Company.
