Conrad Holloman

Program Director


Conrad Hollomon works on the growth team at Techstars, focused on driving innovation for government and commercial partners. In his previous role, he was Program Director of the Air Force Accelerator Powered by Techstars, a partnership to help the US government identify and support critical technologies being developed by deep-tech startups. His focus is on supporting companies at the earliest stages - helping founders, making awesome products, and helping founders make awesome products.

Conrad has spent the last decade building strong software development teams, in both individual contributor and leadership roles. He has worked on innovative technology products in wide-ranging verticals, from hardware platforms deployed to rural areas of Nepal and Tanzania, to consumer software products grossing hundreds of millions of dollars in sales. Conrad has also been featured in the tech community for his advocacy work improving access to STEM education for underrepresented communities. His previous initiative was building and growing the national nonprofit Operation Code, which helps transitioning servicemembers, veterans, and military spouses enter software development through open source technology.

A former military officer and Afghanistan veteran, Conrad has held a variety of positions such as Executive Officer, Battalion Signal Officer, and Company Commander. His experience spans occupational fields including light infantry, information technology, and tactical communications. He received his MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.

In his spare time, he enjoys teaching computer courses at the public library, reading about organizational behavior, and trying out new delicious restaurants.
