Charles is the founder and principal attorney of Mudd Law. For over 17 years, he has guided the firm’s growth to become an internationally recognized source of thought leadership in technology law. Since 2016, he directed the firm to expand into the commercial space and broader astro sector. Over the last two years, he has spoken on diverse legal aspects of the space industry including ITAR, EAR, and other regulatory applications. As the firm’s representation of space clients grows, Charles has also focused on the broader development of space law and policy. In this context, he attended the First United Nations Conference on Space Law and Policy in Moscow, Russia as a private delegate this past September. He currently serves as a Board Member of ITechLaw and as an adjunct faculty member at John Marshall Law School. Charles just returned from the Symposium on Space Innovations in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended SpaceCom 2017, and he is attending SpaceCom 2018 during which he welcomes the opportunity to chat.
