Sebastien Biraud is a biogeochemist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), where he is leading the Climate Sciences Department. Sebastien’s work brought him to the Tropical rainforest of the amazon, the great plains of the United States, and the Arctic tundra. He currently leads projects for the US Department of Energy and California Energy Commission, integrating and applying high-precision greenhouse gases observations for research on the atmospheric carbon cycle, satellite validation, and source attribution.
