Project Manager — Senior Associate

Cherie Matthew is an architect and Senior Associate in the aviation studio at Corgan, a leading architecture and design firm founded over 80 years ago. With over 13 years of experience specializing in aviation architecture at Corgan, Cherie’s team designs spaces and novel experiences that chase new ideas and proactively confront the hardest, most vital questions facing architecture and our world today.

In addition to developing airport and concession design standards in her career span at Corgan, Cherie has aided in the development of airport master plans, oversaw the design and construction of several regional airport campus facilities, including terminal renovations, ARFF stations, SRE storage buildings, central utility plants, and corporate office renovations. As a pioneer for innovative aviation design, Cherie partnered with Corgan’s research and development arm to give shape to the Spaceport—the buildings, networks, services, and experiences needed to support point-to-point rocket travel. As a product of this effort, Corgan has developed an in-depth user experience analysis, programmatic masterplan composition, and market viability and adoption plan to give way to an iconic vision of the future of Aviation.
