Lindsay Rakers

Lindsay Rakers is Associate Director of The Carter Center's river blindness, lymphatic filariasis, and schistosomiasis programs, with particular focus on Nigeria and the Americas. Her work with these parasitic diseases of poverty includes: travel to the field for office support and technical assistance, strategic planning and program implementation, operational research, data analysis and study publication, advocacy, proposals and donor reporting. Rakers has been with the Carter Center health programs since 2001. She holds a BA in communications from Penn State.
