Crystal Wall, Owner and Creator of Crystal Wall Fitness and now Wall House Fitness At-Home Workout, is redefining Urban Dance Fitness and empowering a Self-love Movement for Women all over the world. Voted as one of Houston Chronicle's Most Fascinating People in 2014 and one of Houston Chronicle's Top Trainers of 2015, Crystal is committed to motivating and inspiring others to live a healthier lifestyle.
Growing up in a large Southern Family, Crystal often equated food with love and happiness. But after losing her father to lung cancer, her grandmother to diabetes and her aunt to heart failure in less than a year, Crystal decided a change was necessary for not only her health, but her family’s health as well. Crystal transformed her eating habits, incorporated exercise into her daily routine and educated herself and her family on healthy living. This transformation led Crystal Wall to lose a total of 75 pounds in 2012. Inspired by her own journey, she realized she could encourage other women to make positive changes in their lives as well through Dance and change of diet. She began teaching classes all over Houston 2012, eventually building a sisterhood of women from all different walks of life with one common goal to get fit and have fun. She calls them her BAMF (Badass Mixfitz). In 2013 Crystal opened her very first business Mixfitz Studios, a place where women could “leave it on the floor” daily in a judgement free environment. In 2014, at the peak of her career, Crystal lost her eldest sister Chassity to heart failure and gained custody of her then 14-year-old niece Chaslon, who is now an integral part of the Wall House Fitness.
As a Social Media Influencer, Black Female Entrepreneur, and Health & Fitness Advocate, Crystal is currently a Lead Ambassador for UT Health’s Own Every Piece Campaign. She has also been an Ambassador/ Blogger for American Heart Association’s Go Red Campaign, the American Stroke Association, and FeelRich.com from which her fitness journey was featured in the Netflix Documentary “Feel Rich”.
Encouraged by the popularity and impact of the MF Turn Up, Crystal began touring with the class in 2018. Since then, people from ALL over the world have been able to experience the inclusive and uplifting experience affectionately known as the MF Turn Up!
Crystal Wall resides in Houston, Texas with husband, rapper Paul Wall, and their 2 children. She’s currently offering group fitness classes online and will be doing so in person as soon as it is safe to do so!
