SteamJet Space Systems develops standard and bespoke water-based propulsion technologies for CubeSats and Small Satellites. Using only low pressure water as the main propellant, the propulsion system can be easily integrated into any satellite, and is safe for storage and launch operations. SteamJet's core water heating technology allows to reach excellent performance, using little power, and without the burden of handling toxic or pressurized propellants. The smart water tank design furthermore, allows to manufacture complex tank shapes minimizing the volume occupied.

  • Thanks to its convenient shape factor, the TunaCan Thruster can be completely installed in the tunacan volume located outside the main CubeSat structure, leaving more room for payloads and other subsystems. Using only low pressure water as the main propellant, the propulsion system can be easily integrated into any satellite, and is safe for storage and launch operations. The high thrust, over 6 mN, and the low power consumption, below 20W, allows to minimize the use of the propulsion system and maximize the use of the payload during the mission.
