Peebles Squire is the communications lead for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Transitions (OTT), where he supports the development and management of the office’s long-term communication strategy. Before joining OTT, he supported public affairs efforts at the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E), the DOE’s skunk works for emerging energy technologies.
Peebles has worked in energy and technology since early in his career. Prior to joining DOE, he was a writer and editor for a non-profit focused on electrified transportation and a public affairs specialist for the U.S. wind power industry. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Virginia Tech and his master’s in Professional French Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
