Radiation Effect Assessment

This is a service for estimating radiation dose based on DNA damage. It assesses disease risks based on estimated radiation dose and determines treatment priorities. By monitoring DNA damage level along with a physical radiation dose assessment, it is possible to manage the health of radiation workers and victims of any radiation disaster.

DNA Repair Capacity Assessment

DNA damage is repaired by the body's DNA damage repair mechanism. The DNA damage repair capacity varies from person to person, and if we can understand this, we can determine our tolerance to DNA damage. Understanding our level of DNA repair capacity allows us to understand how we best manage stress.

Lifestyle Assessment

This is a service to visualize the impact of lifestyle on disease risk by quantifying the impact of daily lifestyle on cells based on DNA damage. This service can be used for daily health management of both the general public and athletes.

Dinow brings you a safe and healthy life

Dinow, Inc. is a biotechnology venture company jointly established by a professor and a master's student in a laboratory studying DNA damage at Ibaraki University. Professor Asako Nakamura, who worked as a researcher at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in the U.S., was involved in the establishment of the γ-H2AX assay, a method for assessing DNA damage using H2AX, a protein related to DNA damage repair. Professor Asako Nakamura has been conducting research on the social implementation of DNA damage assessment, motivated by the desire to somehow resolve the strong anxiety about the effects of radiation felt by people affected by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake.

Based on this research, we will focus on radiation dose assessment, DNA damage repair assessment, and lifestyle assessment using the characteristics of the γ-H2AX assay, with the mission of providing people with a safe and healthy life based on DNA damage assessment.
