Mr. Heath is currently the Director of Growth in Civil and Commercial Space for the Axient Corporation. Mr. Heath has been involved with technology and aerospace companies for more than 20 years and has led management and business development teams for startups, mid-size and Fortune 500 companies. Some of Mr. Heath’s unique experiences includes being a part of the SpaceShipOne program which made the very first commercial Astronaut and his signature is on SpaceShipOne hanging in the Smithsonian. He worked on the Dream Chaser Space Plane program as a replacement for the Shuttle. He conceptualized and helped bring to fruition the very first space satellite mission for the Operationally Responsive Space office and made history on that program because they built and launched a satellite in 4 months. He co-invented the Regolith Adhesion Characterization (RAC) payload which will test how Regolith adheres to different materials, metals and coatings which will fly to the moon in 2024. In addition, he has been part of global satellite constellation studies for the Missile Defense Agency and DARPA and worked with Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), Naval Research Lab (NRL), Space & Missile Command (SMC) and other military organizations to further space technologies. He also worked as a consultant with Hyperloop Transportation Technologies to send people to and from neighboring cities in minutes instead of hours at speeds of up to 800mph.
Mr. Heath has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Masters in Business Administration in Technology Management.
