Scott Maethner (Colonel, USAF Retired) is VP of Operations and Integration at NewSpace New Mexico, a non-profit organization that brings together resources, programming, and workspaces to advance innovation and support the growth of the space industry. He has over 30 years combined experience in the military and industry. Scott served 25 years on active duty in the USAF where he held leadership roles in space research & technology development, space and nuclear operations, space strategy and policy, and numerous command and staff positions. Prior to joining NewSpace New Mexico, Scott was site lead, program manager and division director for Universal Technology Corporation/ARCTOS, supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory. Scott holds a Bachelors degree in Physics in Mathematics, and Masters degrees in Space Operations, Airpower Art & Science, and Military Strategy.
