Dan Ciccateri is Space Prep’s Vice President and General Manager of Launch Support Services, with responsibility for the management of spacecraft processing operations and flight, ground, and facility systems. Mr. Ciccateri has over 35 years’ experience in the design, development, and activation of spacecraft processing facilities, ground support equipment, and operations and over 25 years supporting the Space Shuttle program. Prior to joining the Space Prep team, Mr. Ciccateri served as Sierra Nevada’s Director of Operations, where he established manufacturing and ground operations for the Dream Chaser spacecraft, and United Space Alliance, where he had increasing responsibility as a Quality Engineer, Solid Rocket Booster Systems Engineer, Principal Engineer, Manager – Senior Technical Management, and Deputy Director of Engineering. Mr. Ciccateri’s areas of expertise include enterprise business management, data-driven risk management, process optimization, complex manufacturing and maintenance operations, integrated project management, and business development. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt.
