Steve Lloyd is Space Prep’s Chief Development Officer, with responsibility for leadership and oversight of the organization’s programs and strategic planning. Previous to joining the Space Prep team, Mr. Lloyd was All Points Chief Development Officer, Chief Engineer, worked in operations management, and served as Business Development Director. Mr. Lloyd has over 30 years of NASA and KSC experience, working with such companies as Lockheed Martin, where he joined the Space Shuttle program at KSC, managing and supporting the Navigation and Landing Aids (Nav-Aids) organization, and United Space Alliance, where he was Avionics Principal Engineer, overseeing Shuttle flight and ground systems. During Mr. Lloyd’s time at KSC, he supported over 75 Shuttle missions, receiving both the Space Flight Awareness and Silver Snoopy awards for his outstanding work. During his tenure at United Space Alliance, Mr. Lloyd supported Shuttle Program close-out architecture development and project oversight, with an emphasis on migration of NASA and KSC’s capabilities to meet future requirements, future space program studies and white papers, evolving space systems program development, and management of major business development activities. Mr. Lloyd graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and, over the course of his career, has participated in various management and technical training, including Lean 6 Sigma.
