Khaki Rodway is the Spaceplane Sales & Operations Director (USA) for Dawn Aerospace. Her role involves bringing to market the Dawn Mk-II Aurora, a rocket-powered spaceplane, for research, education, and commercial operations in the United States.
Khaki has been building new space companies and industry groups since 2005. She was one of the first hires at XCOR, who designed and built EZ-Rocket, the world's first privately built and flown rocket-powered airplane, then Lynx. As Director of Payload Sales and Operations, Khaki led all marketing, sales, and operations for XCOR’s Research and Education Missions (REM), managed all government contracts, and ran the global Payload Sales Channel. She also co-founded NewSpace NYC, an open community for the development of private companies commercializing outer space.
She has published papers on suborbital space research, propulsion systems, composite materials, well-logging science, remote sensing in archaeology and heritage conservation, and architecture and historic preservation. She received an MS from the Columbia University School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (GSAPP) and a BA from Douglass College - Rutgers University.
