Senior Master Sergeant Ronald E. Lerch is the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Intelligence Directorate, Space Systems Command, Los Angeles AFB, CA. Senior Lerch is the top enlisted advisor to the Director for all issues affecting personnel readiness and welfare, and for talent management of assigned forces. He oversees intelligence efforts aimed at driving Space Force acquisition programs and instilling a threat-centric culture for over 9,000 military and civilian members.
Senior Lerch entered the Air Force in July 2003 and graduated from Goodfellow AFB, TX as an intelligence operations apprentice in March 2004. His experience includes supporting low-observable programs such as the B-2 stealth bomber and RQ-170 remotely-piloted aircraft. Additionally, Senior Lerch served on the 7th Air Force and Headquarters Air Force Intelligence Directorate staffs. Also, he served as the Superintendent to the Secretary of the Air Force. Prior to his current assignment, he was the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 71st Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Squadron, Peterson SFB, CO.
