Michael Lavis, is the Augmentation System Port Interface (ASPIN) Portfolio Program Manager for Lockheed Martin’s Space Security Strategy and Business Development. Mr. Lavis also serves as the Acting Director of the Space Security Advanced Programs organization focused on developing next generation space security operational effects and capabilities in Space Resilience, Space Command and Control (C2), Space Domain Awareness, and space control. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin Space Security, Mr. Lavis worked multiple programs of national importance as an Electronics Engineering Manager delivering world class electronics. Mr. Lavis has been at Lockheed Martin over 25 years in Sunnyvale, CA and Littleton, CO. Mr. Lavis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science Degree in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University.
