We're the North Brevard Economic Development Zone (NBEDZ) !

The North Brevard Economic Development Zone (NBEDZ) is a public sector economic development agency, created in 2011 to advance commerce in north Brevard County, home to NASA's Kennedy Space Center.  The end of the Space Shuttle program resulted in significant job loss for the county, and the city of Titusville, Florida.  By inducing companies to locate in Brevard - firms in advanced manufacturing, healthcare, boating, and aerospace/defense - the NBEDZ and its partners have helped stablize and grow Florida's "Space Coast" economy.  The NBEDZ offers performance grants for infrastructure improvement, the redevelopment of existing commercial/industrial properties, and the creation of high-wage jobs. Over the last ten years, NBEDZ-assisted projects have created more than 3,000 local jobs, and resulted in new capital expenditures of more than $1.5 billion.
